Coca-Cola, Atlanta, GA, is poised to add nutrients to a new line of bottled water to be called Dasani Nutriwater, according to a recent edition of the Wall Street Journal (12/06/01). The varieties of Dasani Nutriwater include Lemon Tangerine for bone strength, which contains calcium, magnesium and B vitamins; Pear Cucumber for balancing, which includes vitamin C and B vitamins; Mandarin Orange for immunity, which contains vitamin C and zinc and Wild Berry multivitamin variety, which contains vitamins B, C and E.
In related news, PepsiCo, Purchase, NY, plans to unveil a vitamin-enhanced version of its Aquafina brand sometime next year.
